Modern Solutions - with a tradition of quality customer service
Since Midwest Surveys was established more than 50 years ago, we have strived to refine the procedures that have been vital to our success. As technologies have changed, our proven methods for maintaining consistent quality in our products have evolved to take advantage of new opportunities for efficiency and accuracy. Our procedures are designed to be streamlined yet continually audit all stages of the survey process in order to ensure accuracy. These secondary checks by field and office staff coupled with that of the managing Land Surveyor maintain the quality control Midwest has consistently displayed.

Advent of the internet and a revolution in telecommunications has made a tremendous difference in how our land survey work is organized. Midwest was quick to develop a parallel production process for projects. This multi-facetted approach enables various members of the Midwest team to actively work on different stages of the same project simultaneously. This speeds the completion process without sacrificing any of the quality and accuracy of the traditional work methodology.
While each stage of this process is vital, Midwest accelerates project completion by moving each module of a project through to next stage once that module of information is assembled. This means field personnel, Geomatics Technologies, CAD Technologies and Land Surveyors may all be working on different components of the same project simultaneously.

Professional Supervision - professional results
Midwest Surveys’ internal policy for supervision requires Land Surveyors take personal responsibility and remain fully involved with all aspects of every project assigned to them. From job setup to completion, Land Surveyors have a complete understanding of every job on which they collaborate.

All plan and/or field note calculations and preparations are performed by, or under the direct supervision of a Professional Land Surveyor.
Where appropriate, personnel who are in training for their Professional Land Surveyor commission are incorporated into the various aspects of project(s). This is part of Midwest’s commitment to the continuing education, succession planning, and overall betterment of our staff, and is done under Professional Land Surveyor supervision.
